Improvement work for me is personal because ultimately it’s about people; the children and families at the end of our intervention, and the staff who are trying their best but may be feeling caught up in a never-ending list of improvements and unachievable demands.

I will work with you, alongside you and alongside your staff to create sustainable improvement. I use mentoring and coaching skills to support your staff to understand the vision for change, learn new ways of working and embrace the culture of practice moving forward.

I can support you with Ofsted preparation including:

Diagnostic and action plan

I specialise in improvement in the front door, assessment, CIN, CP, PLO, Care Proceedings.

I offer a comprehensive package that includes:
• Observation of key forums and meetings
• Quality Assurance activity including review of any QA activity you have already completed
• Meeting with key stakeholders
• Consideration of opportunities with a service redesign
• Overview report and findings including a co-created action plan to take your service improvement forward

Improvement activity

This can be added to other packages or a standalone piece of work. I will work with you and your service to implement an action plan to ensure you achieve your improvements.

This may include developing and delivering training to staff, coaching and mentoring staff, and reviewing and adapting policies and procedures, whilst creating a local culture which facilitates sustained change.

Case reviews and learning events

I will review cases either via the file or alongside your staff (whichever is your preference) in order to deliver an overview report with key findings including strengths of practice and areas for learning. I will then create and deliver a learning event to ensure your staff and partners (if relevant) can learn from the review in a non-judgemental and safe space.
